How to: Calculate Stock Coverage
Stock Coverage is a functionality which enables users to calculate how long a store is able to continue selling items or groups of items given a sales history and inventory. A Coverage Goal (weeks) can be set up in the Stock Coverage page per item category or product group, as well as for a specific season. When the Stock Coverage is set up for a specific season, its Ending Date follows the ending date for that season and the Coverage Goal (weeks) is then automatically calculated. Please refer to How to: Setup Stock Coverage for more information on how Stock Coverage can be set up.
The Calculate Stock Coverage functionality will update the Actual (weeks) and Coverage % information based on the item's Inventory and Coverage Goal (weeks), and make these information available to the users in the Stock Coverage page and Stock Coverage report. The calculation can be performed manually in the Stock Coverage page, or automatically with a Scheduler Job.
To calculate Stock Coverage on the Stock Coverage page:
- Click the icon, enter Store Coverage, and select the relevant link.

Note: The Last Time Calculated field indicates the date and time of the last Calculate Coverage process performed, either by the Calculate Coverage action in the Store Coverage page, or the Scheduler Job.
